Wealth Begins With Gratitude

The 8 Pillars of Wealth. The Pillar of Abundance, Wealth, & Overflow

The Pillar of Abundance, Wealth & Overflow is one of The 8 Pillars of Wealth.

And this pillar is not just about money.

It is about magnetism.

It is about joy.

It is about beauty.

It is about having enough.

It is about recognizing the places in your life where you are already being held, supported, expanded, and blessed.

️✨Wealth begins with gratitude.

Abundance grows from there.

This part of the Mug Smashing Ceremony is different because nothing gets smashed. No mug gets destroyed.

No dramatic release.

No crash.

No shattering ceramic on the ground.

Because not every part of healing is about breaking something.

Sometimes healing is about recognizing what is already good...Sometimes healing is about honoring the evidence...Sometimes healing is about looking at your life and saying: “This gets to stay.”

Sometimes healing is about recognizing what is already good. This gets to stay.

And honestly, that matters just as much as release. Because if you are always looking for what needs to be fixed, healed, released, or destroyed, you can miss the abundance that is already present in your life.

What's Already Beautiful, Working & Overflowing in Your Life

This pillar asks a different question.

Not, “What needs to go?” But: “What is already here?”

What is already beautiful?

What is already working?

What is already evidence that I am supported?

What already feels like overflow?

What parts of my life remind me that life has been generous to me?

That is the energy of the Pillar of Abundance, Wealth & Overflow.

And the three mugs in this part of the ceremony reminded me of three different forms of wealth: joyful money, luxurious beauty, and gratitude for the place I get to call home.

The Arizona Mug: Money Can Be Joyful

The first mug was Arizona. And when I think of Arizona, I think of my old manager Aaron.

Aaron was one of those people who made work feel lighter. He was full of grace, humility, inspiration, and joy. He brought such a beautiful energy into the workplace, and he made me realize something that has stayed with me:

Making money does not have to feel heavy.

It does not have to feel stiff.

It does not have to feel miserable.

It does not have to feel like you are slowly abandoning your soul in exchange for a paycheck.

Money can be joyful. Work can be enjoyable. Success can feel light.

And when you are surrounded by good people, people who inspire you, support you, and bring out a better version of you, even work can become part of your abundance.

That was the deeper meaning of the Arizona mug for me. It was not just a place. It represented a person who showed me that making money could still feel connected to joy, passion, humility, and light. And that is a huge part of wealth.

Because so many women are taught, directly or indirectly, that money has to come through struggle. That success has to come through burnout. That work has to feel serious, draining, or disconnected from who we are. But what if wealth gets to feel good?

What if making money gets to feel aligned?

What if work can be full of good people, laughter, inspiration, mentorship, purpose, and fun?

❌Money does not have to be tied to misery.

❌Success does not have to require self-abandonment.

❌Making good money does not have to mean becoming hard, cold, or disconnected.

Abundance can be light. Abundance can be joyful. Abundance can feel like being around people who remind you that your gifts are meant to move through the world.

So that mug gets to stay.

The Chicago Mug: Luxury Can Be Beauty

The second mug was Chicago. I went to Chicago on a business trip, and it was my first time visiting the city. It was a crisp, beautiful day, and I remember being completely amazed by the architecture. Chicago has this incredible way of blending nature and technology, water and structure, softness and strength.

The buildings are powerful.

The waterscapes are beautiful.

The city feels artistic, intelligent, and alive.

To me, Chicago represented luxury.

Not just luxury as expensive things.

But luxury as design.

Luxury as beauty.

Luxury as excellence.

Luxury as awe.

Luxury as the feeling of being surrounded by something that was created with vision.

Luxury can be beauty.

Making money does not have to feel heavy. Luxury can be beauty.

And beauty is a form of abundance. Sometimes abundance is not a number in your bank account.

Sometimes abundance is standing in a city you have never been to before, looking up at architecture that makes you feel small in the best possible way, and realizing humans are capable of creating extraordinary things...Sometimes abundance is being moved by your environment...Sometimes abundance is seeing nature and innovation dance together...Sometimes abundance is the feeling of expansion that happens when you are exposed to something bigger, more beautiful, more creative, or more inspired than what you normally see.

That is why beauty matters. Beauty wakes something up in us.

To notice.

To appreciate.

To be moved.

To let your environment expand your vision.

That mug gets to stay too.

The California Adventure Mug: Abundance Can Be Home

The third mug was California Adventure. And for me, this mug represents the gratitude I have for where I live. When I think of California, I think of the beach.

I think of mountains.

I think of sunsets on the water.

I think of warm light, palm trees, creative energy, long drives, ocean air, and places to play.

I think of the freedom to enjoy my life.

And yes, California is expensive. Very expensive.

But my life has granted me the ability to live here, build here, create here, and experience the beauty of this place. And I do not take that lightly.

Abundance can be home.

Sometimes wealth is not only about what you are trying to manifest next...Sometimes wealth is realizing that something you once dreamed about is already part of your life...Sometimes overflow is looking around and saying:

“I actually get to live here.”

“I actually get to experience this.”

“I actually have access to this beauty.”

“I actually have this luxury in my life.”

That is gratitude. And gratitude is one of the purest forms of abundance.

Sometimes wealth is realizing that something you once dreamed about is already part of your life. That is gratitude

Because gratitude teaches your nervous system how to recognize having.

Not just wanting.

Not just chasing.

Not just striving.

Not just looking for the next thing.

Having. Receiving. Appreciating.

Letting the goodness of your life actually land. That is a major part of wealth.

Because if you cannot recognize abundance when it is already present, you will keep chasing more without ever feeling full.

You will keep achieving without receiving.

You will keep manifesting without appreciating.

You will keep moving the finish line and wondering why nothing ever feels like enough.

This is why gratitude matters.

Not in a forced, toxic positivity kind of way. Not in a “be grateful and stop wanting more” kind of way. But in a grounded, embodied, honest way.

Gratitude says:

“I can desire more while honoring what I already have.”

“I can keep expanding while recognizing where I am already blessed.”

“I can build the next level without dismissing the beauty of this one.”

That is abundance. That is overflow. That is wealth. Some Things Get to Stay

This is why no mugs get smashed in this part of the ceremony. Because some beliefs are not evidence of what you need to release.

Some beliefs are evidence of who you have already become...Some identities are not old versions of you that need to be destroyed...Some identities are proof of the life you have already built...Some values do not need to be questioned, cleared, or broken down...Some values deserve to be honored because they are aligned with the woman you are becoming...Some mugs represent old identities, expired values, or patterns that no longer serve you. But some mugs represent joy.

Some represent beauty...Some represent gratitude...Some represent proof that you have been supported...Some represent the moments where life opened a door, placed a good person in your path, showed you something beautiful, or reminded you that you already have more than you sometimes let yourself receive.

Some things get to stay.

And that is a healing lesson too. Because part of abundance is discernment.

Knowing what to release.

Knowing what to keep.

Knowing what to honor.

Knowing what is evidence of your growth, your blessings, your expansion, and your capacity to receive.

In the earlier pillars, there was a lot of focus on clearing space.

And clearing space matters.

You cannot receive new things if your life is already overcrowded with old beliefs, old patterns, old habits, old identities, and old versions of yourself. But once space starts opening, you also have to learn how to recognize what is good.

You have to learn how to receive without immediately bracing for loss.

You have to learn how to let beauty be enough for a moment.

You have to learn how to let joy count.

You have to learn how to let gratitude expand you.

That is the feminine side of wealth.

Not always chasing. Not always proving. Not always striving.

Sometimes receiving...Sometimes noticing...Sometimes allowing yourself to say:

“This is beautiful.”

“This is mine.”

“This is enough for this moment.”

“And I am grateful.”

Wealth Begins With Gratitude

This pillar reminded me that abundance does not always arrive as a massive check, a luxury car, a dream house, or a dramatic external upgrade.

Sometimes abundance arrives as a person who makes work feel joyful...Sometimes abundance arrives as a city that expands your imagination...Sometimes abundance arrives as the simple realization that you live somewhere beautiful...Sometimes abundance is already present, waiting for you to recognize it. That does not mean you stop wanting more.

I believe desire is sacred. I believe expansion is holy. I believe women are allowed to want more money, more beauty, more freedom, more luxury, more pleasure, more support, more experiences, and more overflow. But I also believe the path to more begins with honoring what is already here.

️ ✨Wealth begins with gratitude. Abundance grows from there. Because gratitude turns “not enough” into “look at what is already here.”

Wealth begins with gratitude. Abundance grows from there.

Gratitude turns pressure into presence.

Gratitude turns chasing into receiving.

Gratitude helps your body recognize safety, beauty, support, and enoughness.

And from that place, your desires do not come from lack.

They come from expansion. They come from overflow. They come from the part of you that knows: “I am already blessed, and there is still more available.”

That is the Pillar of Abundance, Wealth & Overflow.

Not just money. But:

Joy.

Beauty.

Gratitude.

Home.

Luxury.

Enoughness.

Expansion.

Receiving.

Overflow.

And this time, nothing needed to be smashed. Because some beliefs are proof of abundance. Some values are proof of alignment. Some identities are proof of who you have already become.

P.S. If you are learning to come back into relationship with your body, your nourishment, your joy, and your ability to receive, my cookbooks Eat Like a Goddess and Scoop Like a Goddess were created for that exact kind of woman. They are invitations to nourish yourself with beautiful vegan food, pleasure, intention, and recipes that help you feel supported in the life you are building.

✨Godmother Reflection✨

Where is abundance already present in your life?

What belief, value, identity, or experience reminds you that you have been supported?

What beauty have you been moving too fast to notice?

How can gratitude become the beginning of your next level?

Love you very much.

You got this.
